Educational Volunteer Training Event
Join us for a volunteer training event on August 25th from 5:30 - 7:30 PM at the Squirrel Hill Library in Meeting Room B. You should join us if you are interested in learning more about your watershed, environmental science, and education as advocacy. This will be a fun learning opportunity and a chance to become an educational volunteer that joins our Education, Outreach, and Engagement Director in classrooms, at tabling events, and for other amazing outdoor opportunities.
At the event we'll introduce one of the lessons we teach in school classrooms, facilitate fun, hands-on learning activities, and discuss classroom/educational opportunities and logistics. We'll also provide some snacks. Participants can attend the whole session or just part of it.
